[Landsat-pds] Syncing AWS and USGS Collection 1 archives

I’ve noticed that Landsat on AWS is mostly “Pre-collection”. But coming from the USGS archive (e.g. Earth Explorer), I was expecting to find the same Collection-1 archive on AWS. Will the AWS archive be brought into sync with the USGS archive? Over what timeframe?

As an example, for path 047 row 027 there is Collection-1 data that goes back to 2013, but the Collection-1 data on AWS is just to 03/2017 (https://landsatonaws.com/L8/047/027/ <https://landsatonaws.com/L8/047/027/>)

Scenes after 03/2017 match the Collection-1 scheme:
