[Lexicon] Bootstrapping the OSGeo Lexicon Committee (Peter Loewe)

Hello OSGeo Lexicon committee,

my name is Peter Löwe from greater Berlin (Potsdam), Germany.

My background is geoinformatics, digital libraries (as in ‘books’ and ‘publications’) and digital commons. For work, I handle the research infrastructures at the German Institute for Economic Research (DIW Berlin). 

My interest in the committee concerns terminologies which have already evolved or are evolving in neighbouring communities, such as R, RDA and Force11, and allow us to define and talk about roles/tasks in software development, long term software maintenance and scientific citation according to the FAIR principles.

I confirm that I’m okay with joining the Lexicon Committee.
