[Liblas-devel] libLAS in Java

I don't mind submitting my work back to the community if the community
can help build it and maintain it.

Writing a LAS file is more important to me than reading a LAS file at
the moment..

it would probably less of a dead-end and much less work to build
a set of Java SWIG bindings into the library.
