I've upgraded my vmware but still a no go on graphical login to the Xubuntu 9.10. I did transfer a copy to my local machine an confirmed that Alpha4 does work fine in VirtualBox. I'll spend a few more hours tinkering to try and figure out why X is crashing. Either way I'll run a new build sometime tonight and post the logs. Thanks, Alex
