the binary data files are hosted in our webspace
instead of svn; an install script downloads and
installs it:

http://download.osgeo.org/livedvd/data/osm/Denver_poi.db.bz2

the DB is generated by `osm2poidb`:

http://svn.openstreetmap.org/applications/utils/export/osm2poidb/

if it would be of general use I can stash it in a
more obvious location in the disc's filesystem.
