Hi thanks for your reply,

- The settings for your form where on another style that the one loaded by default ?

I have a default style loaded in the PostgreSQL database for that layer, and I've made some changes to the layer structure. I've reloaded the layer by changing the layer source. Perhaps the issue could have arisen here.

Thank you for the information provided.

Regards,

Hi,

So for the style, you might have hit this issue : https://github.com/3liz/lizmap-web-client/issues/3952

The settings for your form where on another style that the one loaded by default ?

> Can I use geometry expression?

As Ulisse said, it works only for newly created features. And so the geometry is not yet digitized when you open the creation form, so no, it won't works for now.

You would need a PostgreSQL trigger.

It's the issue https://github.com/3liz/lizmap-web-client/issues/3226 about all scopes for expressions in editing form.

Keep in mind that LWC 3.5 is already retired and not maintained as well ;-)

Regards,

It seems quite strange, but the input form with constraints works well. I just have an issue with default values.

Still not working with now() used as default value.

Hi,

Instead of `$id` which could mean nothing for server, have you try `now()` or something else based on `now()` or a project variable ?

Hi!

Are you testing this with an update on a saved feature, or with an insert?

As far as I know, default values in Lizmap currently work only when inserting a new feature. They are not taken into account when updating an existing one.

UPDATE: I've upgraded the Lizmap version to 3.5.13, and now I can see the plugin correctly installed.. However, even if I use a simple expression in the form widget as the default value (for example $id), it is not recognized by Lizmap.

Oggetto: Lizmap Server Plugin

Hi, I have an old installation of Lizmap (v. 3.4.7) on an Ubuntu server with QGIS Server 3.16. I managed my project with QGIS 3.16 and everything works fine. In order to use default values in the widget form, I manually installed the Lizmap server plugin, but it seems not to be working. Default values used in the widget do not appear in editing mode.

I installed the plugin in the /usr/share/qgis/python/plugins directory and I've set the permissions to www-data:www-data for the Lizmap_server folder. I've also defined the environmental variable in the qgis-server configuration file. I've already installed the wfsOutputExtension in the same way without any problems (the plugin works fine). Any ideas?
