MapGuide-Users PHP/IIS vs .NET/IIS

I had success running the initial web extensions installation for .Net,
and then going into Add/Remove Programs and modifying the installation
to add the PHP extensions as well.  Doing it the other way didn't work;
I think there was a problem with the .Net assemblies not registering
properly or something like that...

Andy notes some problems with doing this in this document:
http://www.spatialgis.com/MSE_Install_Tips.pdf
(Web Extensions - Only Install One Flavor!)

Make sure that you have .Net 2.0 installed before running the setup or
you may need to uninstall and reinstall web extensions to get it to work
again.

Do I just run the webextension setup twice - once for each?

Sure you can. We've got several machines running these together, and
we've even set up a laptop that used those plus ColdFusion, Apache and
Tomcat -- all on the same machine (I don't recommend that one though).

I'm not aware of any particular advantages; disadvantages would
primarily be the added load on the server of the additional processes.
