Folks,
after many years of blood and sweat and this way and that we have now come to a final solution for our new logo. Please have a look at http://www.mapbender.org/Logo#Mapbender_Logo
and decide for yourself which color you like better and join our meeting in roughly 2 hours to motion and vote for the version we will go for.

Thanks very much to Uli for suggesting the new original idea of something more abstract, Christoph for coming up with the idea of the "m" and the "B" and then tilting it by 45°, Astrid for putting it in a circle and Viola for doing the technical work.

I like them both.

PS:
This logo will not be set in stone but we should really have one for the Live-DVD and this is the chance to get it done.
