I have checked my wms.map file and there was no decleration of "MAXSIZE"
that I could see anywhere. I put MAXSIZE 2048 in the wms.map beside the
EXTENT, at the top of the file. I then updated my WMS and tried again but
this made no difference.

I have opened the class_connector.php file you are reffering to but cannot
locate the line you are reffering to. I am opening the file in Dreamweaver
and line 81 is }. Line 79 is: $e = new mb_notice("connector: curl without
auth"); I tried replacing this line, with the line you suggested, then
trying it and when I got nothing, calling up the error log file and I got
the following error:

http://myserver/cgi-bin/mapserv.exe?MAP=p:/ms4w/apps/tutorial/htdocs/wms.map&VERSION=1.1.1&REQUEST=GetMap&SERVICE=WMS&LAYERS=fiftyk,boundary&STYLES=,&SRS=EPSG:27700&BBOX=334162.23214285716,728819.0310846561,345379.16335978836,736438.0787037037&WIDTH=4240&HEIGHT=2880&FORMAT=image/png&BGCOLOR=0xffffff&TRANSPARENT=TRUE&EXCEPTIONS=application/vnd.ogc.se_xml

I then copied from the http, to the end and pasted this into the browser but
as I expected, it just prompted me to save an xml file as thats what it was.

Any ideas?
