hello dave,

you can redo the changes in the class_connector.php. i give the wrong line 
cause you maybe have another version of mapbender. 
the getmap you copied asks for a image with width 4240 and height 2880. this 
is to much for the mapserver since you have only defined 2048 px for both!
the mapserver xml exception will show you this error.
please set the value for mapservers maxsize to 5000 and the image will be 
printed ;-) .
