oracle database support

Hallo Liste,

wie sieht die aktuelle Entwicklung bezüglich der Oracle-Unterstützung 
für Mapbender aus?
Ich kann mich an die Anfänge einer Disskusion hier auf der Liste 
erinnern, aber die ist dann wohl nicht zu Ende geführt worden.

Für ein Projekt muss ich eine Oracle-DB benutzen und möchte auch gerne 
den Mapbender in dieser Umgebung haben. Ich habe im Moment noch keine 
Vorstellung vom Umfang dieser Anpassung und auch evtl. Stolpersteine 
sind mir noch nicht bekannt.
Fakt ist, ich werde im Januar mit der Portierung anfangen.

Wenn es hier in der Liste weitere Interessierte gibt, würde ich mich 
über eine Rückmeldung freuen. Vielleicht findet sich ja der eine oder 
andere und es findet eine gemeinsame Entwicklung statt. Über ein wenig 
Starthilfe würde ich mich riesig freuen.

Das durch diese Aktion zusammengetragene Wissen (und Code) wird 
natürlich an das MB-Projekt weitergegeben.

how far is the current development according to the Oracle-Support in 
Mapbender?
I remember the beginning of an discussion on this list, but it never 
finished.

For a project I have to use an Oracle-DB and I would like to use 
Mapbender too. I don't know how much work it would be an what kind of 
problems will appear. The only think I know is that I will start to work 
on this in January.

I would appreciate any feedback on this subject and maybe a small team 
gets founded to start an "corporate development".

Of course, every working line of code will be submitted to the MB-Project.
