Hi,
WFS support is still somewhat lacking in the administrative user
interface. What you want to do can be done, technically everything is
there - it is just a little hard understanding how to get it to run.

Find the required information in the Wiki:
http://www.mapbender.org/index.php/WFS_Konfiguration

Oh, its only there in English, looks like some work for the weekend...

Basically there are three steps involved
* upload the WFS capabilities
* select and configure the FeatureType by attributing the search fields
and layout
* include and configure the WFS module for the user interface

Have a look at the default interface "gui" (MB V. 2.2.3), it contains a
search dialog for Mapbender users.

If you encounter any problems please let this list know. If you are
interested in contributing back to the project we are happy to grant
edit access to the Wiki.

Best regards,
Arnulf.
