[Mapbender-users] Differences for reading Element Vars with different users ?

Hi Karsten,

all queries to the underlying database are done by the db user defined
in mapbender.conf. This has nothing to do with the "root" user in
Mapbender. So this is not a problem of rights to mapbender database
tables.

- Are you sure that user root and the regular user are accessing the
same gui with the same gui_element and element_var defined?
- Make sure that in mapbender.conf the the module security check is turned off.
- Check your log file, if there is anything logged that might be
related (and maybe post it).
