[Mapbender-users] No maps shown when GUI is opened from outside Intranet

Setup: mapbender: 2.7.1 ; geoserver: 2.1.0 ; Debian 6.0

Hello List,

I got another problem and I need help be cause I don't know where to start
to solve this problem. I'm even unsure if this problem is mapbender related.
Please tell me if I should ask in the geoserver mailinglist.

First of all my setup works (nearly) fine in my current intranet. Everybody
can open a link (where the username, password and gui_id are delivered) and
work with the application. Accept one user with IE8 every time he tries to
open the link he is prompt to enter username and password. Other user with
IE8 don't need to log in.

But my main problem is that the layer (raster and vector) in my application
are not shown when I try to open the link from outside of the intranet.
Overview and mapframe are just empty (white), but the layers are shown in
the treeGDE. Even if I log on to mapbender administration-gui and open the
application from there no maps are shown.

But if I use the feature info tool I got the feature Infos from the layer, I
can use the measurement und change projection tool and also the the legend
is there but without the images (only text with spaceholders like a ripped
paper for images).

No related entrys in mb_error.log. The IP from where I open the application
is shown in the Apache access.log but not in the geoserver-request.log. The
geoserver.log (from the http interface) gives me a lot of DEBUG entrys (I
set logging to verbose) but no getMap requests from the outside IP.

So it seems that there is no map request (be cause there are no log entrys)
but why can I the feature info tool?

I hope you can point me to something.

ich habe erneut ein Problem bei dem ich nicht weiß wo ich anfangen soll zu
suchen. Ich bin mir nicht einmal sicher ob es ein Problem mit mapbender ist.
Sagt mir bitte wenn ich in der geoserver mailinglist besser aufgehoben bin. 

Meine Anwendung läuft hier im Intranet einigermaßen gut. Die Nutzer können
meine Anwendung über einen Link erreichen bei dem der username, passowrt und
gui_id übergeben werden. Bis auf einen Nutzer mit IE8 dieser soll sich nach
öffnen des Links mit Name und Passwort anmelden (andere IE8 Nutzer müßen
nicht.

Mein Hauptproblem ist aber das ich beim Zugriff auf die Anwendung von
ausserhalb des Intranet keine Layer (Raster und Vektor) angezeigt bekomme.
Overview und mapframe sind einfach leer (weiß), die Layer werden aber in der
treeGDE angezeigt. Selbst wenn ich über den mapbender login die Anwendung
öffne besteht das Problem.

Ich kann jedoch das feature info tool benutzen und bekomme die (richtigen
Infos)  auch angezeigt. Measurement, change projektion funktionieren auch.
Die Legende wird angezeigt jedoch nur mit Text, für die Grafiken stehen
Platzhalter (ein zerrissenes Papier).

Das mb_error.log gibt mir keine schlüßigen Hinweise. Ich sehe den Zugriff
mit der IP von ausserhalb im apache acces.log aber nicht im
geoserver_request.log. Im geoserver.log (vom http Interface) stehen jede
Menge DEBUG Einträge (ich hab das log.level auch auf verbose gesetzt) aber
kein getMap request von ausserhalb des Intranets.

Mir scheint es als ob keine request ausgeführt wird aber wieso kann ich dann
die feature infos abrufen?

Ich hoffe ihr könnt mir eine Richtugn weisen.
