[Mapbender-users] Measure Line customization ?

In Mapbender 3  would anyone know how one could add the distances shown in
the measure info window also as text next to the existing line/Area Ruler to
the map directly

(that means next to each line segment display the length as text annotation
on teh map ...)
Any hint where the relevant code would need to be added ?
