[Mapbender-users] MB new simple element ?

Hi All,
 
I am about to work on creating  a simple new element for MapBender (a click
on map should retrieve an id from a getfeaturerequest and refresh a WMS
layer with a custom parameter)
 
and was wondering if the instructions at
https://doc.mapbender.org/en/development/element_generate.html
will still work or if instead have been completely replaced by
https://github.com/mapbender/mapbender-starter/blob/release/3.0.6/CONTRIBUTI
