[Mapbender-users] Paper Sizes and Root URL

Greetings all,

After attempting to code OpenLayers by hand, I am extremely grateful to
have found Mapbender. Absolutely very fine quality and a lot of hard work.

I am in the United States and unfortunately our current standards do not
line up to the rest of the world. Our standard paper size is 8.5 by 11
inches. Could someone point me in the right direction of how I would go
about setting this up? Also I have seen a question about the scale unit and
believe this was not something that will not be addressed. Any advice is
appreciated of where I might be able to override the code to show Feet
instead of Meters?

Finally I see some sites where the home page is a map application. I have
tried to set this with a ReWrite in my Reverse Proxy but it breaks links
and keeps me from being able to get back to the admin panel. What would be
the best way to configure a Map app to be the home page?
