[mapguide-internals] custom symbols for line and area rendering

FYI - The plan is to roll out in stages fairly sophisticated symology 
support, with the ability to define simple symbols in XML, composites of 
the simply symbols, etc. The first target will be using them for point 
features and linear labeling (e.g. highway shields, etc).
