I think all are good features and would be welcome additions to the main
code base. I have one suggestion, but I do not know if this is possible.
It would be nice if the wheel zoom in / zoom out was animated. Meaning, I'm
wondering if the wheel zoom could behave as if the user had clicked on the
zoom slider and was moving it up and down?

Jose has added some really neat features to the Ajax viewer:
- A Busy-state indicator
- Mouse-wheel zoom
- Manual scale entry
- Language switcher
Is there any interest in integrating some of these features into the main
code base if Jose is willing? I particularly like the busy indicator and
the manual scale entry.
If not, any objections if I link to his map in live applications gallery?
