[mapguide-internals] does the featureService setResource method do full xml validation?

i have been making my xml pretty using xslt, i blogged it here

would be developer friendly nice if mapguide applied that
transformation for GetResource* methods but it would be a slight
overhead. maybe as another method or optional argument. I'm doing it
in my api wrapper.
