Hi all,
I finally made all the changes that I needed to make and have pushed MGOS
out to our production server (which has the exact same configuration as the
dev server, except with better specs) and now the service is bombing out at
random intervals.
Here's what is happening:
I connect to the production server through remote desktop so I don't have to
go to the server room. When I do go into the server room, I see that the
Microsoft Script Debugger is open. I do not see this on my session through
remote desktop, so I am not sure when this pops up or why. Also, there are a
few events logged when the service goes down:
Application:

The description for Event ID (0) in Source (MapGuide Server v1.2) cannot be
found. The local computer may not have the necesary registry information or
message dll files to display messages from a remote computer. You may be
able to use the /AUXSOURCE=flag to retrieve this description; see Help and
Support for details. The following information is part of the event: Server
stopped.

I tried setting the service to restart on failure, but that causes a
communication error between the viewer and the server. I had to manually
tell it to restart before the viewer would work properly again.
Hopefully someone else has seen this and has an idea of what can be causing
it.
