Hi list,

A few months ago, the francophone translation team started working on this
page : [1]
As a consequence, there was some significant debate [2]
on the francophone mailing list about whether OSGeo should make
advertisement for a commercial product (MapGuide
Studio) on this page.
Then, there was some kind of a compromise in favor of a reasonable
coverage for the three main alternatives which are Studio, WebStudio
and MapStudio.


The problem is that our translators do not have the right to alter the
original document. So it was decided to refer to the highest authorities
(the MapGuide PSC), in order to modify the original document accordingly.

Is this something the PSC might consider or not ?
