Hi,

MapGuide is great - but as always, could be (will be) better.
Not sure where this is appropriate but my wish lists are:

(all comments here are personal and IMHO - please digest as seen fit)

 Crispin

 * More regular updates to roadmaps and features (MGOS 2.0 said 1/2/3 months
late etc and now 2.1 is on a late these is no idea what the expected date is
-- once a project goes late by more than a few weeks can it be
retimetabled?)

 * Focus on core functionality before introducing technology that is
interesting but not demanded (e.g. items below I think would gain more
adoption of MG than a new feature restful service which will take time and
resource to implement delaying other things). Though I appreciate there is
a balance of Adesk paid participation (should be prioritised) and other
contribition (based on personal interests).

 * Feature request: Filter/theme based on data in joined table

 * Feature request: Full INI file initialisation and API support for
highlight colour, fill, border etc (full styling)

 * Feature request: Proovide a pure .net admin interface optioning the PHP
requirements for server install

 * Feature Request: support custom install locations and user-defined
virtual directory configuration (on IIS) to allow for side-by-side installs.
Will increase number and speed of developer adoption of new versions - even
if requires manual stopping and starting two indepenant services initially.

 * Feature request: support Vista/Win2008 IIS7 install (it's possible as we
did it here but seems too hard!)

 * "Studio" - either maintain the web studio or bring the other open studio
project inhouse as adoption of MG is dependant on a good editing environment
