I don't know what Autodesk is using, but even i'm biased towards Mandriva, is 
most logic that reference implementation is Fedora / RedHat. 
In a latest hard case, Debian.
Other major distributions behave the same, and most of then copy core devel 
tools from Fedora, which explain why my choice above.
