[mapguide-internals] Branch of MapGuide Open Source for Autodesk

I have no problem with the concept, but the location seems a bit odd.
Right now Autodesk pretty much "owns" the project and I absolutely see
the need for this from their point, but are we willing to do the same
for other contributors that need their own branches/tags over time?

I think I would prefer to see this done in a different top-level tree.
For GDAL, for instance, Frank appears to maintain (have maintained?) a
custom branch of GDAL for ESRI here:

How about we have a policy of allowing contributors to set up areas for
custom trunks/tags/whatever under a different root structure?  I'm not
sure that sandbox is the right term for this, but maybe something like

http://svn.osgeo.org/mapguide/custom/adsk/tags/2.1/

Where "custom" could be replaced with the word of your choice ("ext",
"sandbox",?)

Hi Haris,

It will be for Autodesk, I do not have plans to use it for any MapGuide
Open Source releases.  The MapGuide Open Source developers outside of
Autodesk can feel free to completely ignore the branch.

It obviously mixes some organizational stuff, but since Autodesk is the
main contributer, I see no problem.
As a bonus it should get a lot easier to determine exactly what fixes
are in place for the Autodesk Enterprise releases.
