Yes I have experienced this same problem, with TortoiseSVN on a
Windows 7 machine. Interestingly I didn't experience this with the
code in the branch/2.1 structure but only in the trunk structure.
Checkout worked smoothly on ubuntu 9.10 as well, but again I was
checking out the branch/2.1 and not the trunk. Preliminary googling
suggests that this could be a problem with the amount of temp space on
the svn server. Might be a good idea to check with the OSGEO guys, if
they experience something like this on other projects as well.
