 RFC 38 (http://trac.osgeo.org/mapguide/wiki/MapGuideRfc38) introduced the
 ability to render a map image only for the currently selected map
 features.

 This submission will add a new selection overlay to the AJAX viewer to
 capitalize on the new capability. The benefit of this is that the whole
 map does not need to be re-drawn in order to modify or clear the
 selection. This gives the potential for a significant performance
 improvement when selecting or de-selecting features.
