 .layer files in AutoCAD Map are simply RDF XML documents which contain the
 XML content of both the Layer Definition, and the Feature Source that it
 references.

 Having the ability to save MapGuide Layer Definitions as AutoCAD Map
 .layer files would greatly improve the interoperability between these two
 products.
