Joel:

I can't get the Oracle Spatial data to appear at all? Have you been able to
get the data to appear? If so, what coordinate system are you using? It
seems I can't get any of the Oracle stuff to work.

I second your experience on slowness. I takes a very long time just to
start to edit the layer. I did end up creating a seperate MGE user for
those layers I want to display in Enterprise. This way it doesn't have to
go through every single table in the main schema. This seems to have
helped, but I can't get the layers to appear in the map.

Another note on this is the way Enterprise gets the new schema information
back to you in Studio. I created a new spatial table and it took quite
sometime just to get the table to appear. I had to go out and come back in
and then create a whole new layer from scratch. Same goes for adding new
columns. I had to totally re-create a layer just to get a new column to
show up.

Have you noticed the symbolization on Oracle Spatial data? It shows a
point, line, and polygon. I'm assuming it's because Enterprise can't
determine the feature type? Not sure why it can't since it is contained in
the geometry of the feature. Even Mapguide 6.x was able to figure this
out.

Or maybe I'm doing something wrong, because I can't even get Enterprise to
display any of my Oracle Spatial data.
