BC Albers Projection and other coordsys questions.

Brad/Joy,

 

I have attempted to create your coordinate system in AutoCAD 2007.  The
coordsys files created should be able to be copied into your
studio/enterprise install.  They should go into your Program Files\Common
Files\Autodesk Shared\GIS\Coordsys\11e folder.  I will not post the files as
they are 3-4 mb and my coordsys def might not be right.  I have no way to
test.  Let me know if you would like them by e-mail and you could back up
your old ones and try these to see if they work.  I will be happy to make
modifications if the settings need adjusting.

 

BTW, can anyone point me to some resources for working with coordinate
systems in the open source version.  I know where the proj files are and I
can see a couple of wkt file from esri and cubewerx that are loaded from
some kind of include file.  Should I add my own wkt file and set up custom
coord systems in that file?  Is there mapguide documentation for this that I
am missing?
