[mapguide-users] Server Started then Stopped error.

Thanks for that.  I edited the serverconfig.ini file and changed a couple of
settings in the paths.  Now I can login from the login.php page.
Interesting, I cannot connect to the server using the MapGuide Studio.  I
will have to keep digging.

I have seen this exact symptom.  Make sure that the paths you changed in the
Configure Services section of Admin are correct (and indeed do exist) and
that you did not typo something.  If server cannot find a path that you
specified, it will not start.

 

For what it's worth, I went from MGOS 1.01 to Enterprise and my repository
still worked fine, so I think you'll be OK there once you get this sorted
out.

I installed Enterprise 2007.  I uninstalled the open source and then did the
install of enterprise.  Foolishly, I thought my repository would survive as
it survived my 1.0.0 to 1.0.1 upgrade.  Not sure if I should expect some
kind of warning at least when I do the install but that is another issue.

 

I logged into the server admin page and changed my repository location to
point to the open source repository folders as they still exist.  Restarted
the server and now I cannot get the server service to run.  When I tell the
service to start on windows 2003, it gives the message that the service
started then stopped.

 

Anyone know what's going on?
