Point selection in ajax viewer

Hi,

 

I am unable to select points on the map ,by clicking on them. Currently , I
have to do a polygon selection (by dragging on map), in order to select a
point. 

 

However, it is possible to select polygons by just clicking on them. Is the
same scenario possible for points and polylines as well? If so, how do you
enable selection of points,  using a single click??
