[mapguide-users] Google Maps / MGOS Mashup

OK. I think I have this solved. I was registering a URL plus a directory
as the site location. Turns out that the directories are case sensitive,
meaning that whatever you registered must be entered exactly into the
address for the client. Domain names are not case sensitive so I registered
it at the domain level instead and then the directories are not case
sensitive.
Sorry about the inconvenience.

I tried it again. Still have the same problem.

For all that had this problem, try it again if you want. For some reason
the Google Maps API stopped accepting my API key and I had to generate a new
one. Every time a user opens the application, it pulls the main Google Maps
JavaScript from the Google servers while sending a key value. If their
servers don't think that key value matches the URL that was registered for
that key, you get results like you saw. This makes it particularly
difficult to develop locally and deploy externally.

Andy,
Trying your Google Map I'm getting an error that says: "The Google Maps API
key used on this web site was registered for a different web site."
And that "The Google Maps API is not compatible with this browser."
According to my IE about box I'm using Version:
6.0.2900.2180.xpsp_sp2_grd.050301-1519
What browser were you targeting?
Anyone else seeing these errors?
Chris

Hi Everyone,
Over the last couple of weeks, I've been playing with integrating MapGuide
Open Source and Google Maps. It is now in a state where it works reasonably
well and I invite everyone to take a look at it.

Enjoy and please let me know if anyone encounters any problems that aren't
already noted on the page. Thanks.
