Dennis,

The open source version does not yet have an FDO raster provider.  I have
one under development based on GDAL and am hoping to make it available in
an "alpha" form fairly soon.  Currently the code is being reviewed by Autodesk
prior to my being able to make the code available as it was derived from
their proprietary raster provider.

I'm not exactly clear on whether Autodesk is providing access to the
proprietary raster provider to some beta tests or not.  It will presumably
be part of the commercial release.
