No, they are both running the same build: MapGuide Server (Version
1.0.0.16802).
For what it's worth, the machine it works on with Sheboygan is the Win 2000
box. The application it does not work on in either case is using the WA
State Plane, North Zone, NAD83, feet coordinate system.

For your Sheboygan sample, do your two machines perhaps have different
builds of MapGuide on them?

On both of my installs (one XP, one Win 2000, both .NET) with my
application, whenever I try to do a buffer, I get this error after hitting
the Done button: "Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is
often an indication that other memory is corrupt".
With the sample Sheboygan application running on the same machines, I see
the exact same symptoms you describe below on one machine, but it works as
expected on the other.

Has anyone been able to get the buffering to work in the AJAX viewer. No
matter what value I put in the distance and no matter what unit of measure I
choose, it just makes the same big red buffer that takes up the whole map.
Does this not work in the AJAX viewer?
