[mapguide-users] Installing mapguide

Autodesk alluded to a PostGIS provider at one point, but I think that
they were unable to produce it initially because of limited internal
resources.

Are there any developers interested in doing this independently? Is
there enough interest for this on the list that we could come up with
some kind of collective effort to pay Refractions (or someone else) to
develop a PostGIS FDO provider? I guess that an OGR FDO provider
would also make sense, but having two levels of abstraction kind-of
makes my head spin.

It's hard to push this right now, because MapGuide isn't being used for
many production front end interfaces yet.

By the way...

I looked around and did not find a PostGIS FDO Provider.. what a pitty!
Is there any plan of creating one? Is there anybody working on this?

Thanks.

Javier.
