I noticed too that Web Studio didn't seem to know about raster extents.  I
don't *think* this is a problem with the driver, just an apsect of how studio
works, though I could be wrong.

By default as built in FDO, GDAL does not include ECW and MrSID support.  If
you need them for the KG project, I can modify that aspect of the build on
the target machine.

BTW, it might be good to scrub off the old mapguide and fdo components
from the KG machine before installing from SVN.  This would avoid duplication
and confusion.

I think this would mostly require the command:

  sudo rm -rf /usr/local/fdo-3.1.0 /usr/local/mapguideopensource
  sudo rm -rf /usr/local/src/mapguide-1.0.1* /usr/local/src/OpenSource_FDO
