Fdo2Fdo allows you to write multiple feature classes in SDF.
The issue was that SDF by itself (it was confirmed on dev-fdo list)
doesn't allow adding new features after SDF files once was created and
populated.
So in Fdo2Fdo you need initially to select multiple classes to copy to
SDF and SDF will contain multiple feature classes.

Hi Brad,
Safe Software's FME also allows you to write to multiple feature classes
in SDF. Send me a note offline if you're interested in me sending you a
sample.
I'm not sure if Haris' fdo2fdo has the ability to create multiple
feature classes during transfer yet. When I initially tried it it has
problems because the SDF schema couldn't be redefined to add additional
tables.

Seems to be some holes here. Dwgtosdf3.arx only works with classified
dwgs. Using the tools in the display manager only works with one layer
at a time(no append). So one of the nice features of sdf3 is the
multiple feature classes in one file. Does anyone own one of these
files? The only source it could have come from is a classified dwg. Is
that correct? I am not wanting to use the sdf format except that I have
considered it for "sending" data to other autodesk users/requestors.
Another note: I have had a bulk copy running for 4 hrs now. The original
data arcsde is approx 40MB. My sdf output is now at 82MB.
