[mapguide-users] Mapguide Enterprise Install

Hard to say. You should probably talk to your reseller to see if Autodesk
will let you run your one MGE license on more than one machine. I agree,
having to buy an additional license for a development server (which is how
most people deploy these kinds of sites) would be unreasonable.

Have you tried to license your MGE serial number on more than one server?
If so, what happened?

That's nice for those that have an ADN account, but what about those
organizations that don't have one? Are you now required to purchase an ADN
sub for testing the licensed and purchased copy of Enterprise on your
test/development environment?

I can't take any credit for that. I just put the document somewhere that
others could access it. Francisco Javier Rojas Duran from
http://www.dasoft.com.mx originally put that together.

Thanks Andy, that helped. Maybe you should offer up your services to
Autodesk as a product literature writer. This is par for the course for
Autodesk, given my experience.

I have it running using my ADN membership serial number. See this post at
the Autodesk MapGuide Enterprise discussion group.

I recently sent an email about my Mapserver not starting up and I believe it
could be due to an evaluation install. However, this begs the question,
"has anyone succesfully installed MS Enterprise, using their ADN serial
code?" I can't seem to get the license manager to work without a specific
license file, which I don't have.
