Thanks for the quick reply, Andy! I am talking about rasters, so the
white paper answered my question perfectly. However, I would have to
create a config file with elements for every single file I want to
include in the resource, and there are over 1200 files. Anyone any idea
how to simplify this, and is a resource referencing that number of files
likely to have any chance of working?

Cheers

Tom

Tom,
Please see the second item on this page. There is a link to a white
paper describing the process.

Subject: [mapguide-users] Unmanaged feature sources [No Viruses

Hello all

I have around 5 GB of aerial photography I would like to use as a
feature source, a copy of which is already sitting on our MGOS server.
Is there an easy way to make an unmanaged feature source to use these
files directly, rather than have to copy them into the MGOS library? I
see that Web Studio has an option to create an unmanaged feature source,
but I could make no sense of it, and some of the Web Studio help files
seem to be missing, including the ones relevant to this function. Can
anyone help me?

Thanks

Tom
