[mapguide-users] problem with OGR provider

Try connecting to the directory where the TAB file is located, rather
than to the file itself.

Hi,

 

I got problem with the OGR provider in Autodesk Map 3D 2007.

The provider is working fine for Oracle and SHP-files, but if I try to
connect MapInfo TAB or MIF/MID-files the following error message
appears.

 

Autodesk.Gis.Common.Exception: Connect failed

            By Autodesk.Gis.Fdo.Connections.IConnectionImp.Open()

            By
Autodesk.Gis.Map.DataConnect.Plugins.GenericProviderConnectionPlugin.but
tonPendingConnect_Click(Object sender, EventArds e)

 

 

Any idea why this error occurs?
