Jim,

Were you thinking of gml geometry fragments as a representation for
geometry in records in SQL Server or a GML file-on-disk provider?  If
built against Xerces the OGR FDO Provider can read some varieties of GML2
though the GML support has many ... flaws.  (my fault).

I don't know if the normal binary for the OGR Provider includes xerces/gml
support or not.
