Removing a layer from the base layer group

Hi list,

I'd like to toggle between two rasters contained inside the base layer 
group.
The way I imagine this, is to remove a layer from the base layer group, 
and to add another layer to the base layer group via the SetGroup method.
Unfortunately, there does not seem to be a "Remove" method for the 
MgLayerGroup Class.
Does anyone have an idea of how to do this anyway ?
