Hi,

Web Studio is an open source contribution.  It provides sufficient  
functionality to take raw data and get to the point of being able to  
produce a map.  Due to time and budget constraints, that was seen as  
the minimum necessary to make the open source version of MapGuide  
useable.  If you've created a map definition, you can then use it  
with the php viewer sample.  Alternately, you can develop code  
against the Web Tier API to display the map.

Web Studio is designed to be flexible and it would be relatively  
straight forward to add additional functionality to it.  We will  
gladly accept contributions from the community in the form of code or  
financial backing to implement additional features.
