Subject: License issues

I am an ADN member and having troubles getting my license file to work on MG
Enterprise 2007. I generated the hostid file from lmhosts and sent it
autodesk, the license file that was returned did not work – the mapguide
service could not start.

I believe the problem is the IP address of the mapguide machine. I installed
mg enterprise as a site server to run on the following address HYPERLINK
"http://209.77.234.126:81/"http://209.77.234.126:81/ which is an external IP
with port forwarding. The internal IP of the machine is 192.168.1.6. This
configuration has been working fine until the evaluation period ran out.

First question, will this configuration cause a problem for the license
server?

Which IP address should I use? LMHOSTS sees the internal addresss, but I
access the mg administrator via the external IP?

To simplify matters, how can I change the MG site server IP address?

Any help would be appreciated.

ps. I’ll post my solution when it is resolved.
