Hi Chris, and others,

Web Studio is a key component of our emerging commercial activities
with MapGuide. It was first developed by us as a means to get a
better understanding of the MapGuide architecture and to fill a hole
in the open source stack of technologies around MapGuide.

Since then, most of our development energy has been focused on Fusion
which some of you have heard about as an application development
framework around MapGuide. With this now maturing, we are planning to
balance out our development activities as we progressively work
towards providing a fully supported package of technologies for our
customers and growing list of partners.

What does this mean for Web Studio? Since it is a critical element
for DMSG -- we will certainly be returning more energies to it in the
not too distant future, and this will be reflected in future versions
of MGOS.

I hope that we can soon provide a development roadmap to the
community that will reflect our plans for Web Studio. Of course we
would welcome contributors and input re. the needs from the technology.

Thanks,
Dave
