[mapguide-users] .MPG Package

Thanks for help 
but my problem is in the manage package i put the folder name put I got
nothing(I put shapefiles in the specified folder)
1. I don't know is there a special format for files  to package and can i
use shapefiles?

2. where is the root folder and where to put that folder?
