[mapguide-users] MapGuide Server *dies* when system goes on stand-by

Um, that's what Stand-by does,

it puts your system into a low power non operational mode until you return.

Turn off the system stand by, and leave the computer running 24/7.

you can set the monitor to turn off after a certain period of time to reduce
burn-in, this is what most people runner servers do.
