If I am not mistaken using FDO 3.1 with the 1.0 version of MGOS will not
allow layers to be created using WFS datasources. I think some bugs were
fixed in FDO 3.2 that should allow WFS layers to be built.

I believe you need to be using MGOS 1.1.0 with FDO 3.2.

Subject: [mapguide-users] WFS FDO Provider error.

Hi,

I'm unsuccessfully trying with MapGuide to consume a Geoserver WFS
service.
I am using MapGuide Studio to test
out the FDO providers. I can successfully (I think) create a Data
Connection using "http://<server/port>/geoserver/wfs" as the Server,
and I get a Successful Connection message.

When I try to add a Layer however, I get the following error after
selecting my Data Connection as the data resource to use.....

"The feature source is invalid
  Invalid arguments(s):
  [1]=""
  The string cannot be empty."

Anybody come across this error before and point me in the right
direction?

Regards
Chris
