If you are interested in seeing some details of what is going on, you
might want to run mapguide interactively, with GDAL debugging turned on.
Something like this:

cd \"Program Files"\MapGuideOpenSource\Server\Bin
set CPL_DEBUG=ON
mgserver.exe /stop
mgserver.exe /run
